Kenneth (Ken) Bloch is a Process Safety Supervisor with over 30 years of direct experience in the downstream Oil and Gas Industry. His former responsibilities include serving a variety of maintenance, reliability, process safety, technical, and operations roles in two of North America’s largest full-conversion refineries. Ken is the author of Rethinking Bhopal (ISBN: 978-0128037782), the first and only independent and definitive analysis of history’s worst industrial disaster written by a modern industrial failure investigation authority. Ken speaks regularly at AFPM, API, and AIChE process safety symposia to relate experiences that promote hazard awareness and incident prevention throughout the global manufacturing industry. He graduated with honors from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, with an Environmental Science Degree in 1988.
